there's a paragraph in this current book i've read that really stick in my head. loving the fiction conversation as its still bring logic to me.

Zack : Huggy moved to the Caribbean, spend his days surfing and become professional beach bum.He's still there, living a great life.

Ellie : Do you ever wish you're doing what's he's doing?

Zack : Never. i'm happy here. would you do it?

Ellie : (thought for a moment. finally she said..) It would depend on who i was with. Living in a perfect place with the wrong person would be horrible.

i kinda agree with Ellie. deep inside my heart, instead of my conscious brain, i would rather be with that someone who love me dearly, sincerely and be happy with the simple life even the place is not so perfect or less then what i have now. i can tolerate that, as long as i'm with the right person.

oh well, that's what my hearts tell for now. being 'logical' and what hearts says are 2 different thing and there's always 1 that you have to choose at the end of the day.

2nd cousin to Yada was born 3 days ago, on 4th January 2012. Introducing - Khalis Rafiqi Abdul Fattah. Another great grandson to my grandmother. 2 more on the way, coming this February and June 2012.

By age, Yada is only 3 weeks older than khalis, but they were born on different year. so, Yada will enroll to school same year with Amshar Affan, who was born on Jan 3rd 2011 (another 2nd cousin of Yada)

Salaam,
a brand new year. wake up from the long deep sleep, i still feel the same.. hehehei!

Spending the 1st day of 2012 at home, clearing space from Macbook, deleting some old memories so that i can start fresh :) creating new folder for new chapter.

'To the moon and back' - applies to both my current feeling and the title of the 1st book i read for this year. (yes, i get to read a little bit today as well..)

it's a productive day for me - beside working on my laptop (and start reading the new book purchased yesterday) i also continue with the spring cleaning task,trow out more stuff from the crib, rearrange boxes in storage area and tidy the master bedroom.

Along and abah came over in the evening to help dismantle my single bed frame and took it to syamim's apartment. my room look super empty now, until the new queen mattress i order come sometimes next week. for now, i'll be crashing the couch.

remember my 3 resolution for 2012 from previous post?

(just in case, here's the list from earlier p ost)
1. Save enough money for my next Europe trip in summer 2012.
2. Upgraded single bed to queen bed.
3. To be happy & take chances with any decision i (will) make.

yes!, im working on item no.2 right away. the progress to complete the bed, bedding set etc might take longer, but here's to kick start and turn it into reality.

Along & Su, went back to Raub yesterday to introduce baby Yada to our grandmother. Yada Rania is wan's 3rd great grandchildren (..after Hannah Sofia and Amshar Affan). She's happy to finally meet baby Yada.

new year weekend

Salaam,
i basically have no plan for this weekend, thus might be end up celebrating new year quietly at home. planning to do some cleaning work (ie - laundry, trow away old clothing, and junkie from storage) IF im not too lazy.

BUT, looking at my 3rd room/storage the past few days, make my heart aching, and imedieately i wanna roll up my sleeve, change to shorts and start digging out old stuff i didnt use/keep for the past 2 years and 1.trow away, 2.give to other ppl who can utalize it.

Maybe ( if old stuff gone earlier than plan..), i'll put up my leg on the couch, sit back and work on photo editing for the past and current travel photos.i just found out the the bali trip (July2010) was half done and tons to do as well.....oh, and i need to select nina's photos from our europe trip and pass to her..

Plan to hit Fraser's hill or Cameroon Highland, Genting or Cherating for new year with friends, but after a busy weeks at office since i return from the trips and all friends that stays in KL have work deadline, we decide to call the plan off.

oh, maybe i'll google property/apt that for sale.. or go and fix my fan's remote, or just sleep till noon. we'll see how it goes :)

India trip 2011 - teaser post.

Yet to have time to write about either Europe and India trip in full. swamp with work the minute i return back to office the next day after both trips.

will be occupied this Xmas weekend as well. need to spend time with dear friends that i didn't see for months. india trip photos have to wait, but here's a summary..

India trip was interesting. a little bit of adventure, hindi & indian drama in our 7 days there and lots of northern indian food and many packets of 3-in-1 milo and Chai. Red Fort and Taj Mahal was fantastic and breathtaking. Kashmir ( Srinagar) was a beautiful fantastic place with many2 good looking kashmiri's. memang cuci mata sakan. we also met so many kind of people and make new friends. :)
i had a great-fun travel buddy and we're looking foward for many more traveling plan together in the future. thank you Yuen Yee for being an awesome friend and roomie trough out our trip. she's also a photographer expert (lucky me). thanks for helping out snaping some of my photos in India!InsyaAllah will find time to post more photos from both of my 2011 trip. if not this year.. i'll do next year okay, before the next-upcoming trip :)

Im back from my last leg of traveling on 14th Dec 2011..and on the last day,i got diarrhea. nice. good job nad!

i was @ New Delhi T3 new & posh airport.. impressive, and i ate McD. the only time i take ice cold drink and its only a few sip before i decide it taste a little bit kukoo. i then bought a bottle of mineral water.

upon arrival at LCCT airport the next morning.. i start having the tummy ache. oh, before that - i trow up TWICE in the airplane!.. shame on me! NEVER i trow up..and tada.. twice,...okay!!

OH!.. i officially an Aunty!!.. my SIL gave birth the same time the plane landed on LCCT tarmac. great!.. i'll write about it in a different post. Diarrhea n newborn baby shouldn't be mention in the same post more then a paragraph. :)

oh well, i suffer for the next 4-5 days, dealing with diarrhea and also office workload. ( yes... i take no MC and still work as usual.)

i lost a few KG for the past few days and that the up-side of having diarrhea.. i tell you. im lighter. flat tummy. he he he!

okay, i'm going to clinic tomorrow. i promise.

Tom Cruise was in TajMahal few days ago and we are going tomorrow! why can't he be there a few days later when we will be around TajMahal..taking pictures of the monument be part of the crowd.. and meeting him in person?

hehe!, Yes. im going to India for a week. A short stay at Agra and Srinagar. that's all. this will be the final leg of this-year-end traveling plan.

my apartment received a little guests today. God-son,and his mommy pay me a visit. delightful and happy to see the little angel has grown up so fast. it has been 3 month., since i was last introduced to baby Zikri a.k.a Ikki 6 hours after he was born.
it kinda weird, having a baby in my crib. there's actually a little fella crying and sleeping on my couch! :) sweet.An afternoon to catch up become one whole day..and both mommy & Ikki end up spending the whole weekend with Aunty Nad. super nice. :)

today, 2nd Dec 2011 - at around 1.30pm my friend/ex-housemate's dad passed away. Hes been sick for quite sometimes. i heard the news an hour later, and quickly rush to find my dear friend.

Upon hearing her voice on the phone, i too break down and together we cry. we've been living together as housemate for almost 8 years and we shares many laugh, joy, up, down and tears together. today is no exception. i too, sad with the passing of her dad, Raja Omar Raja Uda.

She's about the leave the house for Batu Pahat, for the funeral. managed to catch he for few miniute and share a hug and some tears (again)..

My condolences for your great lost, Gebu. May Allah blessed your bapak's soul and may he rest in peace. InsyaAllah.

i've been occupied during my trip and didnt get to blog so much. my journey will end very soon, and insyaAllah, will post a complete travelog when i found time to do so :)

Alhamdulillah.. sampai juga ke Venice. been wanting to come here in a very long time.

Its only a day trip to Venice and i went there with my dear friends Barbara and Dario, along with my cousin, Yana. weather-like, very foggy in the morning, with little sun in the afternoon. we managed to go to piazza and sightseeing a little bit, despite the fog.

its was a very short trip and manage to cover just a small part of Venice, but this one picture i took, make my trip a perfect one.

Maybe one day.. i'll come again and stay a bit longer.

weather is perfect. 16-18 Degree and some local walk in short pants and tshirt. it's like, the tropic people come to town and bring along the sun from south east asia! :D heehe!
revisited the old place i went with Uda, Syamim and Iman 6 years ago. same building same skyline, but back then we're all much younger and eager n manage to discover the town i 1 whole day. hari ni jalan sikit2 sbb with baby in stroller and want to enjoy the day n relax. no rush gitu..
Oxford is very beautiful. Autumn add on some golden color to it. Sun set is early. by 430pm dah gelap macam magrib. and at night, it can be very cold. :)

Uda is a great host. wanna thank her from the bottom of my heart. thank you for the warm welcome, home, duvet and friendship. thank you Uda!!

day 1 : 12 November 2011 KUL - Gatwick,UK

...and my end of the year little adventure begin.

First stop is Oxford,UK. Arrived at Gatwick Airport at around 3.30pm local time(London) and reach Oxford at 7.00pmthanks to huda & hisyam for picking us up and prepare a comfy place to sleep for the next few days.

13 hours++ in flight is super tiring. with the delayed departure due to bad weather, and the drama dalam flight ( mat salleh bergaduh sbb mabuk) and the very long long long que at imagration Gatwick ( sbb open counter only 3-4) but there r hundreds of us. time kami @ the counter, was the fastest and took less then 3 min! beratur dekat 1 jam setengah!! :)Anyway, all in all,.it was okay. Selamat sampai. Dari awal perjalanan - dapat tengok bumi allah yg macam2. from brown sandy earth, to limitless sea.. and the white mountain tops , as white as the clouds and before landing, beautiful english countryside.oh yeah, ada pretty eye-candy dalam flight. boleh cuci mata bg hilang penat :Pmore to come, insyaAllah.ni first shot @ oxford, at 715pm.,local time. Good night! ~

Been so so busy this week.my lil adventure-last-min-preparation, finishing up TONS of work. got sick, and was called for work assessment interview today (and a whole day working on assessment essay earlier this week..) so i keep this short eh? :) need to start packing.. :D

1.finish up with last few remaining work just few min ago, Alhamdulillah. hopefully i didnt left anything out. done with handover note so my colleauge can help with followup n tracking while im on annual leave for 2 weeks starting tomorrow (YEAY!)

set the 'out of office mmsg' on mailbox and im good to go.

2. after more then 2 year sitting in the current post, holding the 'acting' manager post, i received an email from the company, calling for a round of Assessment interview. there's 3 part - Essay (like super 10 of it!), group assesment and finally, the individual interview.

all done within this week, since i inform them about my long annual leave.

i completed all 3, at 3pm today,..and half of the stress and sickness gone the moment i step out of the interview room!! so relieved! :) so now, pls pray for me to pass with flying colors so i can earn the 'manager' title for real:) 'please pass.. please. pretty please*

3. okay. i've been spending a good chunk of my saving on some traveling stuff prior to my adventure this November and December - A new back pack (55Liter Sierra bag) a light uniqlo Jaket -mustard gold in color and oh-so-comfy timberland Gore-tex waterproof shoe. ( picture was included in earlier post)

but,

there's still one thing that i've been 'eye'ing for months!..since after Eid in September to be precise. its a green stone-with small diomand-white gold band.

i can't afford it then, cause im giving priority to the traveling stuff first (budget is tight yo!) but this month, HABIB got 50% sale, and the price become even lower cause the gold price has gone down a little bit. so, i've been thinking reaaaalll hard either to buy or not.

after much ting-tong, i decided to go ahead and buy it as self-birthday present for this year.. YEAAYY!!...

so,there you go. cantik taakk? ( the other white band was an old ring, check out the green stone only.) its small. its all i can afford for now. at least i know i own it, i earn it.. :) yes?

need to start packing now. i hv about 12 hours before my adventure starts. woohhaa!!

My mom has gone trough this ordeal 32 years ago, so that i can live today. my huge thanks to mama. gratitude, and love to you.unconditionally.

mama told me few weeks ago, that she had a bad bad bleeding the morning before i was born. she is in critical situation and if the surgery wasn't take place sooner that it should be, she might not make it. Alhamdulillah, Allah panjangkan umur mama. itulah pengorbanan si ibu.

my prayers on my birthday is that Allah bless my mama and abah with good health, happiness and greater love so that they can spread and share it with the people around them.

my do'a today is that Allah bless me with long life, a good ,healthy one. wealthier is even better :) may Allah keep me safe, happy and be able to take care and shower my parents with many great things., and repay mama & abah sacrifices.

happy birthday me. happy 32. happy always. i have my parents, family, dear friends and that's matter, that's enough. i am blessed.

Salaam.
YESi. my house is like a sinking ship. seriously. the house need a good scrub. need a good vacuuming job. i just need it to be tidy like.. if not tidy, tidy i 'm happy with average tidy.

you see, i've been busy for the last 4-5 weeks and always staying back late at work or doing errands and preparing for the year end adventure.

in average, i sleep around 3-5 hours every night. i only qada' the sleep on weekend. there the usual thing - dirty dishes, laundry to wash, clean ones to be fold, sweep the floor, vacuum the house, tidy the room, replace bedsheet, get rid of the lizard's shit. there are things scattered around the house, t the wrong places.. longer than it suppose to be., and dining table is full with 'stuff' - not eatable. im so tired by the time i reach home, nak jeling the dishes pun x larat. if i hv to stay back, is because im doing research n planning stuff with cousins.

i might spend the long birthday & eidul-adha weekend to clean up and do some office work i intend to complete by the 8th. well see..

Well, since nad agak busy 3-4 minggu kebelakangan ini, teralpha sekejap tentang birthday hinggalah BFF nad pos birthday present masa final WRC20ii punya finale, about 2 weeks ago. beria kawan sorang ni remind esok ko tunggu ada abg pos nak dtg..abg posmen nak dtg office.

tup tap the next day after Allblacks won the title this year, (YEEAAYY!!) parcel sampai...yeyeaah! dapat jersey AllBlacks yo!!...siap ado nama n lucky number 5 lagi. thanks BBF! suka suka!!

the reason jersey sampai awal, bfore birthday ialah supaya aku bleh pakai time game final,tapi delivery sampai sehari selepas. tapi tidak mengapalah. tetap happy. :)

a week later, abg posmen datang lagi.. another parcel arrived. its a superhuge allblacks hoodie!!.. hahahaa... thank you friend!!.. aku suka, but seems that i have to send it for some alteration job before i can wear it.

today, 2 days before my Birth-day, a bouquet of flower was delivered to my cubical. WAHH lah kan. it has been a while since i receive flower on birthday.

these people has been my friends, for more then 10 years. Eddie, for one has been my friend since we were 15yrs old. longer than any relationship with any of my BF..haha!!.

As we all know, AllBlacks New Zealand won the world cup this year. YEEEEHHAAA!!.

i'm over the moon, knowing that my fav team finally win, after soooo many years of not-winning :) Must say that the final match agaist the France was not as good or as exciting as the semi-final against the wallabies Australia, its a little bit stressfull - i must say, sitting on the edge of the couch.. screaming n counting minutes that france team wont make another score on 2nd half.. its 8-7 for god's sake! and how can all blacks lost focus for a split second and BAMM!!.. france scored!

All Blacks looks tired, Aaron Cruden was badly injured and can't play, Weepu's missed all opportunity - 3 penalty if i were not mistaken, and i dont see Sonny Bill Williams on the field except the last few min. Thank god - McCaw, and Kaino did well, Ma'a Nonu too.. so does, that dude i forgot his name who score the points for all blacks. i love u bald guy wearing jersey no.1!!

France team = salute. super strong. if Chabal is still playing for France, i might cheer for both team., :) you guys did well!!.

SALT USES .. YOU MAY HAVE NOT KNOWN BEFORE!

1. If you drop a whole egg on the floor, pour salt all over the egg, let it sit for awhile, then use dustpan, the egg will come right up, without all that mess. 2. Soak stained hankies in salt water before washing.

3. Sprinkle salt on your shelves to keep ants away.

4. Soak fish in salt water before descaling; the scales will come off easier.

5. Put a few grains of rice in your saltshaker for easier pouring.

6. Add salt to green salads to prevent wilting.

7. Test the freshness of eggs in a cup of salt water; fresh eggs sink; bad ones float.

8. Add a little salt to your boiling water when cooking eggs; a cracked egg will stay in its shell this way.

9. A tiny pinch of salt with egg whites makes them beat up fluffier.

10. Soak wrinkled apples in a mildly salted water solution to perk them up.

11. Rub salt on your pancake griddle and your flapjacks won't stick.

12. Soak toothbrushes in salt water before you first use them; they will last longer.

13. Use salt to clean your discolored coffee pot.

14. Mix salt with turpentine to whiten you bathtub and toilet bowl.

15. Soak your nuts in salt brine overnight and they will crack out of their shells whole. Just tap the end of the shell with a hammer to break it open easily.
16. Boil clothes pins in salt water before using them and they will last longer.

17. Clean brass, copper and pewter with paste made of salt and vinegar, thickened with flour

18. Add a little salt to the water your cut flowers will stand in for a longer life.

19. Pour a mound of salt on an ink spot on your carpet; let the salt soak up the stain.

20. Clean your iron by rubbing some salt on the damp cloth on the ironing surface

21. Adding a little salt to the water when cooking foods in a double boiler will make the food cook faster.

22. Use a mixture of salt and lemon juice to clean piano keys.

23. To fill plaster holes in your walls, use equal parts of salt and starch, with just enough water to make stiff putty.

24. Rinse a sore eye with a little salt water.

25. Mildly salted water makes an effective mouthwash. Use it hot for a sore throat gargle. This is an excellent tip for mouth hygiene. If you use this (salt water) instead of the commercial mouth wash, you reap a number of benefits: a) you have healthier gums and teeth, b) great savings( commercial mouth wash is quite expensive) c) this is an 'organic' way of cleaning/freshening your mouth, where as the commercial mouth wash is full of strong chemicals. There are recent scientific article asserting that commercial mouth wash( esp those with high ammount of alcohol) can lead to throat and esophagus cancer)

26. Dry salt sprinkled on your toothbrush makes a good tooth polisher.

27. Use salt for killing weeds in your lawn.

28. Eliminate excess suds with a sprinkle of salt.

29. A dash of salt in warm milk makes a more relaxing beverage.

30. Before using new glasses, soak them in warm salty water for a while.

31. A dash of salt enhances the taste of tea.

32. Salt improves the taste of cooking apples.

33. Soak your clothesline in salt water to prevent your clothes from freezing to the line; likewise, use salt in your final rinse to prevent the clothes from
freezing.

34. Rub any wicker furniture you may have with salt water to prevent yellowing.

35. Freshen sponges by soaking them in salt water.

36. Add raw potatoes to stews and soups that are too salty.

37. Soak enamel pans in salt water overnight and boil salt water in them next day to remove burned-on stains.

38. Clean your greens in salt water for easier removal of dirt.

39. Gelatin sets more quickly when a dash of salt is added.

40. Fruits put in mildly salted water after peeling will not discolor

41. Fabric colors hold fast in salty water wash.

42. Milk stays fresh longer when a little salt is added.

43. Use equal parts of salt and soda for brushing your teeth.

44. Sprinkle salt in your oven before scrubbing clean.

45. Soaked discolored glass in a salt and vinegar solution to remove stains.

46. Clean greasy pans with a paper towel and salt.

47. Salty water boils faster when cooking eggs.

48. Add a pinch of salt to whipping cream to make it whip more quickly.

49. Sprinkle salt in milk-scorched pans to remove odour.

50. A dash of salt improves the taste of coffee.

51. Boil mismatched hose in salty water and they will come out matched.

52. Salt and soda will sweeten the odor of your refrigerator.

53. Cover wine-stained fabric with salt; rinse in cool water later..

54. Remove offensive odours from stove with salt and cinnamon.

55. A pinch of salt improves the flavor of cocoa.

56. To remove grease stains in clothing, mix one part salt to four parts alcohol.

57. Salt and lemon juice removes mildew.

58. Sprinkle salt between sidewalk bricks where you don't want grass growing.

59. Polish your old kerosene lamp with salt for a brighter look. Remove odors from sink drainpipes with a strong, hot solution of salt water.

60. If a pie bubbles over in your oven, put a handful of salt on top of the spilled juice.The mess won't smell and will bake into a dry, light crust which will wipe off easily when the oven has cooled.

counting days for the Final Rugby World Cup 2011 this Sunday. Abah & mama will be in Kl and it's gonna be family time with cokodok pisang sambil cheer for All Blacks team!

i'm not so much into sports, watching or participating in one, bu
t i like to watch Rugby because of the interesting,kinda violent but very manly man game, and of cause, i think this is the only sport that have more then 3 hot looking man in 1 team!.. hahaha!... i first fall in love with Sabestian Chabal of france, but later on i get hook up with the all black boys..Jerome Kaino, Sonny Bill Williams, McCaw to name a few.. oh my! even my mom found 'em super cute. haha.
Anyway, i have fun watching some games from the RWC 2011 for the past 3-4 weeks, and i had a blast watching the semi finals on last week, between All Blacks n Australia. i think Wales should win, but France have better luck. i dont really understand the rules, but thanks to Abah, he explain every single one of it like a pro. 'errm, abah dulu masa muda..rugbi player kat UM ke..? hahaha..' - i dont think so. he's more of a tennis guy back then. sbb raket tenis abah di era 60-70s stil ada somewhere dalam store.

Final match on 23rd October will be between France and NewZealand AllBlacks.here's 2 clips my friend shared over FB, and im more than happy to post it in my blog. kot rindu kat All Blacks, boleh tengok kaaann.....

tak tau lah kenapa, but cerita kematian Steve Jobs betul2 buat some of us rasa sedih dan down, majoriti merasai kehilangan seorang warga creative yg best, dan pemergian beliau masih dirasai,walaupun dah more than a week since he passed away.
tak tahu lah kenapa, dan tak kenal pun kannn...tapi rasa sad masih bersaki baki. Ramai, termasuklah nad, menghormati beliau kerana kejayaan ciptaan & idea2 gile-bab-best nya dan the way he thinks & cara dia berjaya, sangat2 mengkagumkan.

baru2 ni, nad saje google.. dan terjumpa lah cartoon2 gambaran Steve Jobs yg di imaginasikan oleh cartoonist2 barat,.. Nad nak share di blog sbb rasa macam best, kelakar dan this is one way we wanna remember this fella.,Majoriti manusia di dunia mempercayai heaven and hell, dan generaly, semua org baik masuk syurga, yg jahat pi neraka. macamana pun sama, indikasi setiap agama masih berbeza.

I read kak niza's posting and i was moved, about how love still exist in this form.(click image to go to kak niza's blog)i wish, i pray that insyaAllah, Allah will grant me something similar to this kinda bond with my future other half. in my everyday do'a after solat, that Allah give me love like i see in my parents.. they have been happily married for 36 years., like my grandparents, who created this huge kamaluddin clan so big, loud n full of love. now, to add to the list, pak mat n kak niza is another great example.

i didn't say that all of them have/had a perfect marriage or love n happy happy all the time. there's always challenges, trial, hard time,..but they survived it, and face it with grace and done it wisely.with love instill in it.

Steve Jobs, the mastermind behind Apple's iPhone, iPad, iPod, iMac and iTunes, has died, Apple said. Jobs was 56.

Jobs died "peacefully" surrounded by family members, his family said in a statement.

Neither Jobs' family nor Apple revealed where Jobs died or from what cause, though in recent years he had fought a form of pancreatic cancer and had a liver transplant.

"We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today," read a statement by Apple's board of directors. "Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve. His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts."

The homepage of Apple's website switched to a full-page image of Jobs with the text, "Steve Jobs 1955-2011."

Clicking on the image revealed additional text, credited in a separate memo to Apple employees to current Apple CEO Tim Cook.

"Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being," the text read. "Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple."

telah berlaku satu incident kelakar. nad walk in the dark n walk stright into a shallow drain after a good dinner @ friend's place. its GFs dinner and all went home with happy stomach and sleepy eye. berjalan dalam kegelapan menuju ke kereta masing2.. nad berjalan masuk longkang yg hilang jaring cover longkang!!

Serious kelakar okay.! lepas jatuh boleh gelak. my 2 friends who's also @ the scene terkujat terkulat2. terkejut. yg pakai heels tinggi tak jatuh pun..yg pakai selipar jepun tergolek dok.

driving home, i had a goood laugh sorNG2. singgah petrol pump to fill in the tank, baru perasan kaki bleeding. balik rumah sendiri main doctor2..cuci luka. syok jugak.

On the 3rd day, (today lah) kaki rasa cam bengkak. baru gi clinic di office. kena bebel dengan doctor. cuci luka n no more bandage.

i don't have to do this but for the sake of some peace of mind, i need to say it out loud.. once and for all. hard to swallow but hey, this is LIFE and REALITY.

after 1 year of friendship and about 10 month of relationship.. we decide to call it OFF. FINISH. Done.

No solid closure but we have sort of mutual understanding and agreement on this. a deep long discussion is not needed.

i love this Japanese lad to bits and those dear to me knows it, but i believe in Allah's planning. He knows best. Redha is what i have to inhale now. yeah am sad a little - but at this age, we learn to swallow sadness and disappointment. mature enough to accept without question things too much., to stand up and move on with life. He's a fine fella, but one who still have mission to achieve, a young heart and an old life he cannot let go.

We agree to give it a shot and we had an interesting journey with a few hiccups here and there, but relationship also make you grow up and realize what other things in life you think is more important at this point of time. Relationship require sacrifices, tolerance and patience. Age and maturity are important too.

there's internal conflict and matters of dream and what you want in life. when we can't decide our mind and keep changing it., that's mean you're not ready.

i might feel that i find the right guy, but maybe at the wrong time.

the real reason (or theory..as i put it) of this (another) unsuccessful relationship? - let it stay between us and us alone. i experience a good love story, fun & exciting - even this one is a short one. let's keep it that way.

We are friend first, become a couple later. when relationship ends, we take a step back and hope to be friends again.

I wish him all the very best, for him to pursue his dreams and life he enjoy most. stop being overstressed over so many things. live for today, don't worry for things in future, that yet to happen. i hope, one day, when we're older, we can be friends like we use to. we gonna laugh and smile over old memories.

so, there you go, the end of another chapter of Nad's love story. tada!

Allah bless me with a pretty awesome huge, loud family, and beautiful friends & friendship -but a bit tough when it come to love department.. well.. God is fair :) nobody get everything easily.

Salaam.,
after more then 10 month of no horse riding, i get to spend few hours with the horses @ paya Indah Wetland. Hari ahad ada endurance race, hance penn endurance team is in town to participate.

driving for almost an hour to get there (in heavy rain) was so worth it., sebab.. the inner feeling berada dekat dgn kuda2 ni rasa lain..

believe it or not, there's a moment - when i hug Penn2 neck, she stop munching the grass., become so quiet and stand still.,that's the moment when i feel tears in my eye, and sedikit sebak di hati.. and at that very moment..she sort of turn her neck closer to me and return the hug. i can feel Penn2 know how i really feel and her,being a gentle beast, comply to my need at that very moment - warm my heart in a way i think only animal knows how.

mungkin mengarut, tapi i feel better after that..rasa macam sikit masalah dalam hati, lifted from my shoulder.

i believe in animal instinct. Cats and dogs and horses can' feel' our feelings, fear or love and can be a very reliable companion at times like this.

will write more about the event in future post.

we have to take risk, to give it a shot and see if its work. Give as much as you can, in certain period of time. see the outcome. feel what you feel. digest & diagnose. if it doesn't work, we have to learn to let go and move on.

it's not that we didn't try, or 'put on extra effort' but sometimes.. certain people have to undergo many cycle or process in search of 'what's best' before meet the right one & some lucky ones get to find their soul-mate/partner instantly. it's each person's destiny.

last week, After almost 3 years, i finally get to see my Costa Rican's buddy - Randall Valverde Vega face to face via skype. we met & become friends @ World Endurance Championship (WEC) 2008 event in Terengganu, Malaysia. thank god for google translate, we get to communicate in Spanish & English very well :)

Well, there's some silent moment..hahaha!..(because of typing & translating..) but, the real time is cool & it's all fun!

- It's a consider as a quiet raya this year,eventho there's 40 over of us on the 1st day of Eid. theres always food galore n loudness. we talked, hang out, chilleks, memancing pagi petang, mandi sungai..to name a few activity,.. but still a bit too quiet in the sense that lesser people come to visit, this year. very quiet in that sense, tiada ziarah menziarahi. including our family on visiting relatives. yes,we go to beraya rumah saudara mara n jiran sebelah pintu, but thats about it, no driving all around visiting house to house. Sebab Facebook ke? sbb selalu sgt jumpa online, we tent to feel that visiting each other physically is less important these days?

most probably i'm going back to KL esok ( friday) jemput datang beraya ke rumah Sri Damansara!!

On 19th august (Friday) i had a nice iftar with Nana & Lil'Hannah @ NAAB solaris and before that.. paid a quick visit to Myra's stall at nearby bazaar.

Dr.Nabil, invited me to visit his Gf's booth. nice stuff. feel free to visit Myra's online shop (myra-mode)HERE & (myranesque) HERE. ( and she's cute too. Kak Nad approved lah Nabil!!..)Hannah is such an angel. She's in good mood, and so does mama & aunty Aby. we take the time to eat and enjoy the hummus, hot bread and the juicy meats. we get to take some photos with the lil' Diva as well..
finish Iftar & lepak session with mother-daughter duo at 10pm, and i head to Hilton PJ, for an early supper with lovely 3 very lovely ladies. the 4 of us chilleks and eat some more till around one-ish am. i can't eat no more.. full giller. gelak2 pun byk. thanks ladies,.. great supper.

i stop by @ PJ parking to meet and greet my friends from the BMX scene. lama x jumpa teman2 ini. good to see them bersama basikal2. Everyone look fine and in good shape. :)

stay for 30min or so and head home. manage to perform some solat sunat, hajat and doa2 apa patut.,sampai Sahur. sahur pun separuh sedar dah. lepas Subuh je.. terus pass out,sampai kul 12.30pm.

Its saturday and i have a date with the usual gang. we plan a DIY spa-pedimeni-facial in conjuction of Livian's birthday. 7 girls get together at Han's new crib @ Mont Kiara. Superb place. we had the most relax time.Iftar @ Hanz since all too lazy to go out n leave the nice crib.. we also get to sing a birthday song to Liv.. follow by ladies movie night.- all vote for Simon Baker and yes, we all go gugu-gaga over the hot,charming,beautiful eye Aussie. good dose to take mind off for a while.

head home @ 1ish Am, again like previous night.perform a late solat tarawikh, solat sunat and berdoa apa sahaja yg terasa di hati.

Sunday - yet another lazy, quite day. Qada' tido till late, do laundry and internet. nothing fantastic,..just quiet,relaxing Sunday.,at home. alone.

i think i had a pretty awesome weekend. Alhamdulillah.

bought this book a few weeks ago (13 aug), Author -Sophie Page, Book : To Marry a Prince.followed by this one, by my favorite chick flick author, Rachel Gibson, last Tuesday (23rd aug).Yet to read ANY MAN OF MINE but TO MARRY A PRINCE, is one funny novel with a twist of a modern fairytale,romance and a peek at royal life, from a commoner point of view., a delight n light reading meterial.

rushing to finish the last few chapter so i can start with Rachel Gibson's book!

It's still less than a year, but we made 3/4 out of it.

I'm blessed, truly am.. but in reality, there no relationship run without obstacle or challenges.
its all depends on how far it will go, or how we deal with it, how much we can tolerate, sacrifice, give in or give up.

At this point, we learn some about the other half. its not totally about how much we love the other soul.. its also depend on few other things that contribute to the relationship - level of maturity, toleration, the 'right timing' or other 'to-do-list' in life that we want to achieve first, to sacrifice, to let go.

i thankful for the obstacle, the experience so far. how far will it go or will it be, and how the journey ends.. it's not my call. i don't know and i have no plan whatsoever. one day at a time. I'll let Allah to decide what's best.

May he be the one for me, as i love him dearly & sincerely. if faith and the master planner say otherwise, i shall let him go to pursue what's good for him, and suits his future may be.

whatever it will be, i will look back from the beginning and say - this is one very interesting journey & beautiful life experience.

!Salaam Ramadhan.,
hows puasa so far? im doing okay. managed to 'prevent' myself from going to ANY pasar ramadhan this year, thus.. im proud to say that i didn't overspend on kueh mueh or extra, unnessesary food. only bought few kueh from the office lobby and sometimes 1 or 2 type of lauk for sahur.

so farm berbuka di rumah aje. sometimes dgn kawan2 or cousins. my parent was in town since yesterday, so.. for the next few days,..alhamdulillah dpt merasa makan lauk2 yg mama masak.

few days ago, my cousins Nana ( and her daughter,Hannah the diva) plus Roddy come over to have a 'lil' pot luck iftar & lepaking' @ my crib. Since it was Saturday and i forbid myself from going to pasar ramadhan, i end up cooking a simple dish - fried noodles to feed my guests.

Nana bought some kueh, drinks & nasi beryani., and roddy bring durian & cheese cake (that end up in the fridge)

hey, my meehoon is a hit and we 'wallap' it till the last meehoon string up to sahur. YEY!

Hannah is a doll. shes in her best mood ever and had a fun fun time at my place. me love hannah! ~ *lagu Barney*

'Salam. Just to let you know that Kak Bedah anak Paklong hussim di Kg.Cheh Bukit Gantang meniggal dunia petang Tadi - AlFatihah.'

it was sad to know that Kak Bedah leave us so soon, and more, paklong hussim will be lonely., without his daughter.

if my bestie and favorite german girl is KATJA Baumann, then Dr.Harald is my good male buddy that i know since early 2008.

Katja left for good after completed her 1 year contract working as tutor here in Malaysia last april, and now - its time from Dr.Harald 'Botak' Olk to bid his farewell, after spending 4 years in Malaysia.

i'm sad every time i say goodbye to my dear friends, esp goodbye like this. a goodbye that takes years until we meet in person again, maybe never.

Well, we have the friendship in us, the bonding, the memories. he's the leader of our little 'groupies' (because he's the boss to some of the ladies..haha!, and he hire us to work part time @ the DAAD booth) and theres emails, FB and skype to keep in touch.

He's sweet in his own nerdy way, and frank and very very knowledgeable. punctual too. but i can speak up my mind & seek advise from the wise man.

Last Sunday, after attending my friend's wedding reception, i went on a quick date with Mr.BF

We walk to nearby Quality Hotel,Shah Alam.. (it was a 10 min walk in baju kurung..) where there's a row of booth selling durians, cempedak & rambutans.

i've seen tons of durian all my life already but the place like a durian heaven for Shin as this is totally a new experience for him.

we bought a few durian Kampung and mineral water. find a seat, and walla.. Ate every single one of it..we smell like a durian for the rest of the day. Shin is all happy. he said, ' i stop drinking alcohol when i embrace islam.. but now, i shift my addiction to durian.. ha ha'

He is officially a hantu durian, hails from Japan. as long as you are happy -lah shin.. :)

diet regime.

well, a not-so new-regime.

everybody know that im a lazy-bone when its come to exercising. i try going to the gym and it lasted 5 month before i flop n freeze the gym account. I eat the unhealthy but very delicious, oily,full of fat Malaysian food every day, - thus, the result = the fat,flab Nads.

My friend, the personal trainer @ Circut25, Mr.Jeremy share a general diet tips., since he cannot convince me to try & exersice 3 times a day. he's a super awesome trainer, but also as my dear friend, he stop trying after 10 times of advising me. 'even a personal trainer can't convince me. i need to convince myself'

basically, i need to :
1. drink A LOT of plain water to wash out all the sugar i drink everyday. A LOT of plain water. check! 2. Fresh juice, once a day, NO SUGAR. 3. FRUITS intake, at least 3-4 meal a weak. suppose to be every day. 4. NO OILY/FRIED Stuff ( oh no!) .. no fried noodle, currypuff, cucurbadak, roti canai.. 5. NO Nasi Lemak ( how can i live without nasik lemak? im malaysian for god's sake!..) and no Cheap,sweet bun. 6. small portion of rice only, once a day, or better, only few time a week. 7. eat Steam & boilds stuff, and alot of veggie. 8. No meal after 8pm. 9.Drink alot of Green Tea and dont take Milo!..its sugary n fattening.

he shall share some low cabs, low fat menu for me to try.. we'll see if my perut melayu can take it, but i shall try!...

maybe i can do this..if not totally follow the diet schedule, i determine to eat healthy stuff 3 times a week. lets make baby steps here.. before we aim big, no? :)

Been participating in quite a number of weddings.. cousins, engagement party and family friends reception for the past months and i've been ask for my turn.

come on people!!.. enough with the question n get over it. im still a nona, and dating and that's about it. when my calling come, will 'canang' and announce to the world.. but as of now., im still the same old nadya that you know :)

tumpang happy and my best wishes to the lovely couples who find their soul-mate. match made in heaven for each one of you. its your turn and congratulation to all, but im still que-ing and i'm not complaining :)

still a Ms, not a Mrs.

doesn't mean that im dating someone, i will end up marrying the particular dude. It takes 2 to tango, and ready-ness from both side. It can be a serious relationship, maybe just a light one, hard to tell. Im a girl and i'll wait for my turn. btw, i still believes its the man's job to ask and take the lead, not the ladies.. thank you.

what a weekend :(

As much as i want to go to Malacca this week with my friends, Harald and Fern to visit Sarah n her family on Saturday and later on visit Appai @ parent's weekend home for her baby shower party on Sunday, i made a bad bad decision not to go few day earlier because being 'tamak' for wanting to spend the weekend with both Mr.BF and friends all in the same weekend and afraid for not being able to attend a family friend wedding reception on sunday afternoon. all this happen because of poor planning at my end, and being too 'considerate' and want to please people around me., well.. my love ones and friends so to speak.

at the end of the day.. i missed out the fun outing with my 'DAAD' family and the last weeknend with dr.Harald before he fly home for good after spending 4 years in malaysia, and my best friend's baby shower and i bet im not gonna see BF either. the only best part of the week is that, i might go to the wedding tomorrow and meet my old old friend.. Uda n her family.

only if i plan it properly, and didnt plan within BF's work schedule, i might be able to achive : go to melaka on saturday morning with my friends, spend time with them and Sarah & lil' Ben.. and pay Apai a visit prior to the baby shower, and heading back to KL before noon sunday, and still get to go to the wedding. its a tight schedule, but doable.

only if Mr.BF also be a little bit considerate and put his feet in my shoe, to feel and see how important this weekend is for me to spend it with everyone. If he cannot make it, than tell me earlier on so i hv enough time go for plan B ( proceed plan A without him)

im so frustrated, and disappointed - i dont feel like talking the whole day..

what i learn today :
1. we cannot reverse time.
2. think smart
3. we can't have everything.
4. speak up n make things clear. make all party understand. dont assume.

i wish to spend some quality time with buddy dr.harald before he leave and meet lil'Ben di melaka, sooner than later.
Am glad that they had a fantastic time in Melaka, and how i spend my saturday? all by myself.

i cannot reverse this weekend anymore.. but i be in this sour mood for a while. if only i know it earlier.., if only i double check with Shin n his plan again. i hate half way conversation! EUGH!

im so sorry appai, for not not be able to go to your baby shower, i feel so bad.my sorry n salaam to your mom & family. i have the idea of harald, you n and sit together before he leaves.

movie date..

yes, i went for a movie marathon, alone - watching 'Monte Carlo' and 'Larry Crowne' back to back after work yesterday. the 4 hours of 'me' time was worth it!

Monte Carlo is a story about 3 girls from Texas on vacation to paris and mix up with some mistaken identity, end up at monte carlo. fun, girly movie... its refreshing., entertaining. The sceneric view of Paris and Monte Carlo is breathtaking and there's also cute guys, a must watch ladies! i had fun 'cuci mata' watching this movie.

finish with the the first movie, i hop to the next one., Larry Crowne.

if you a fan of Tom Hanks, than LARRY CROWNE is a must watch ya'all. i always a big fan of Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts.. so im looking fwd to watch this movie. more on adult couple-story compare to 'Monte Carlo' - Larry Crown is a compilation of hillarious, the tom hanks way, mix with bitter sweet of whats life is all about. i love the casts, the simple story line, but the strong script give an extra punch & wrap it all. i give the movie 2 tumbs up. read a mix review of this film from wikipedia, but i dont care.. i simply love it.

If you fancy 'That thing you do' and emotionally moved by 'Cast Away' .. than, you cannot miss LARRY CROWNE. listen to his last speech,.. super sweet. super nice. mind blowing.

THAT Thing You Do! (1996), Tom Hanks's first film as writer-director, was a lightweight but astute account of the rise and fall of a 1960s rock'n'roll band - a cautionary tale about the perils of showbiz.

As always, Hanks seems intelligent but fearful of challenging his audience; there is something condescending in this attitude, as in the rather abstract conception of the salt-of-the-earth hero.

We know that Larry went straight from high school to the navy, where he spent 20 years as a cook; that his skills include fixing GPS systems and preparing French toast; that he gets along well with his neighbours; and owns a large number of LPs. Otherwise, he registers as a friendly, accommodating blank. We never hear him talk about the failure of his marriage, nor why (despite his hopes) he missed out on having kids.

Still, it is hard to dislike Hanks, or his sentimental vision of a makeshift community that endures through tough times.

There's a sense that many of the supporting cast members were chosen simply because Hanks enjoyed having them around. George Takei is hammy but funny as an economics lecturer and it's a joy to see Pam Grier show up as a professor of literature and feminism, looking imposing as ever and unusually relaxed.

malacca trip

after the FlatDEV event, we manage to play tourist and visit Malacca a little bit and visit a friend @ Dataran Pahlawan Mall.

it's been ages since i spend time @ Jonker St. or Melaka town itself. been to this hitorical city few months ago but stricly work, and didnt go anyway -just stay @ hotel. the last time i really spend time @ jonker/melaka was in 2008/2009, march - for Marina's bday and that was a fun fun trip...

this time, was kinda awesome to, cause the monkey went with mushroom :)
we visited the historical A-famosa and the church on top of the hill, near the Dataran pahlawan mall, and visited my old friend and mentor, Mr.Ambo. he's a cartoonist, caricature artist. but i think he do formal/fine artwork as well..

Ambo was my mentor during my university days, and he's a master in marker art/rendering. i used to hang out at his booth in 1998/99 to help around and learn from the master himself. proud to say that my marker rendering class for that semester pass with flying colors :)
we become friends ever since and it has been 14 years and counting. both Shin & i are very happy to meet him @ his work place.
later on, visited Jonker St. for final day time little sightseeing, tea break and left for KL by 6pm.

okay, its 12.50 pm and im leaving on a je tplane to Jakarta for the weekend, 1st thing tomorrow morning. need to start packing n catch few hours of sleep.

just got back from Dr.Harald's Dinner farewell with few friends. maybe i'll post about it after get back from Jakarta ya.., till then, have a good weekend ya'all..

i suppose to update the news and photos right after the show, but the very-busy-schedule ( and i need to make ways to more important deadline/work) so i can only share the post, 2 weeks after the showcase.

Shin 'sapu bersih' wipe clean the main 2 prizes for flatland, the open category and best-combo- link.great job honey!. he bring home 2 set of Cash, Devise awesome tshirt ( can i have 1 please? ) and hampers. way back to KL, my beat-up satria was stuff with 2 big hamper, his bike, pump, and bags ( cloths,laptop,camera)

Kudos to the organizer and BMX/flatland friends who work hard to make this event a successful one. the indoor location was great., so i didn't get sun burn or so much of sweat.

i manage to snap some photos and record some short video clip ( 3 GB of files) and will pass to mr.Mushroom to upload which one he think good for the public to view.

but on personal note, i didn't have so much of interesting photos this time - in term of image composition and color. maybe my lack of practice & exploration ( in photography) make me less creative these days.. well, im not happy with my end product.,that all.

i need to be more creative and think out of the box!..
even my cousin's wedding photos are all quite straight forward & no creative shots like when i use to snaps for customers few years ago. and believe me or not,.. i forgot to snap black n white as well.. darn nad!

trying to update blog in between my hectic schedule.

super busy the last 2 weeks preparing for our company Golf event. as comittee im incharge for goodies n premiums for our 80 players, and photography portion.. beside other tasks on the event day itself.,

so many thing to do, for the past 2 weeks and Faizah & i went to KLGCC almost 2-3 times a week for meetings n preparation.

the event went well on Sunday, 3rd July @ KLGCC as planned, despite some rain earlier on, an hour after the 'tee off' at 8am., but the games only delay a little and no harm done. we can't control mothernature no? :)i help out the hospitality team in between my task and i get to drive around the course yo! fun giller!! sib baik lepas hujan x panas sgt.. kot panas.. mmg nad stay dalam luncheon hall aje ler..

1st round, follow the team for some delivery to customer/golfer..and 2nd time, nad yg drive sendiri,.. received quite a number of good feedback from customers via emails shared by our GMs. proven that we did good job for this event... kan!?

Happy!. tired, but happy. satisfy. heee!!
